When Michael's son started taking hitting lessons, he noticed that most of the better hitters were using wood bats. However, finding a high-quality wood bat with a large diameter barrel and a drop ratio that his son could comfortably swing proved to be a challenge.

Refusing to compromise, Michael decided to take matters into his own hands. Drawing inspiration from the resilience and power of the blacktip shark, he set out to create a line of wood bats that combined performance, durability, and style.
